Free State 4 March 2021 – A group of young IT professionals from the Free State province believes it has found the solution to retailers and manufacturers headaches. They have created an app that focuses on bridging the gaps laid bare by the covid19 pandemic in as far as technology innovations are concerned. Progressive Creations as they have named their app, aims at addressing the logistical gap in manufacturer to store dynamics as well as all hiccups around delivery from Kasi stores to your big chain stores.

The innovation is a free mobile application that will make it easy for Micro Retailers (Spaza shops in the RSA context) to obtain direct supply linkages to Fast-moving consumer goods companies (FMCG’s) thus lowering their cost of doing business. On the other hand, we provide sight of what happens to consumer-packaged goods at the last mile, allowing for efficiencies and increased margins. Their value proposition also includes the use of data for alternative credit scoring models.

The company was founded by Tumi Letsaba, Bandile Ntombela, Ditjaba Selema and Kgomotso Sebitlo, who are all seasoned and experienced tech, finance, and business professionals. “We are a solution-oriented organization that leverages current innovations and technological trends to provide value. Our key focus is the underserved markets, and, in our approach, we always think of an “African Solutions For African Problems” approach” says the company’s CEO Tumi Letsaba.
The covid-19 Pandemic period has shown the need for an immediate migration to digital technology to address problems and adapt to the changing times.
