The highly anticipated Tribute To Women 2026 music festival is set to return to Johannesburg on Saturday, 29 August, bringing together some of South Africa’s biggest musical stars for a powerful celebration of women, culture and live entertainment.
Hosted by Malibongwe Arts Festival in association with MGE, Sheer Entertainment and Breakout Events, the annual event will once again take place at Mark’s Park in Emmarentia, offering festivalgoers an unforgettable Women’s Month experience filled with music, unity and inspiration.
Now firmly established as one of Johannesburg’s premier Women’s Month celebrations, Tribute To Women continues to honour the resilience, achievements and contributions of women through the universal language of music. The festival has become a platform where audiences from different generations come together to celebrate empowerment, creativity and South Africa’s rich cultural heritage.
This year’s edition carries added significance as South Africa commemorates the 70th anniversary of the historic 1956 Women’s March to the Union Buildings. The milestone provides a meaningful backdrop for a festival dedicated to recognising the courage, strength and enduring legacy of women who continue to shape the country.
Leading the 2026 line-up is acclaimed singer-songwriter Msaki, whose deeply personal storytelling and soul-stirring performances have earned her recognition both locally and internationally. Joining her is award-winning musician Sjava, known for his unique blend of Afro-soul, hip hop and traditional African sounds, alongside legendary Afro-pop duo Mafikizolo, whose timeless hits have remained favourites across Africa for more than two decades.

The festival’s star-studded programme is further strengthened by chart-topping artists Nomfundo Moh and Busiswa, ensuring a diverse musical offering that spans Afro-pop, soul, amapiano, house and contemporary African music.
Set against the scenic surroundings of Mark’s Park, attendees can expect a vibrant outdoor festival atmosphere featuring world-class live performances, great food, social experiences and an opportunity to celebrate the remarkable women who continue to inspire communities across South Africa.
With its combination of exceptional talent, cultural significance and community spirit, Tribute To Women 2026 promises to be one of Johannesburg’s standout events during Women’s Month. Whether attending to honour the women in your life or simply to enjoy a memorable day of live music, festivalgoers can look forward to a celebration that reflects the strength, beauty and power of South African women.
As anticipation continues to build, Tribute To Women 2026 is shaping up to be another unforgettable chapter in the Malibongwe Arts Festival legacy, bringing together music lovers for a day of inspiration, celebration and world-class entertainment.
