The View Opens With R100 Million Fourways Upgrade

Estimated read time 3 min read

Fourways is getting a new spot for everything from leisurely lunches and wellness appointments to sundowners and dinner dates, with The View opening its doors as the latest addition to the Fourways Mall experience.

The R100 million development, located at the corner of Cedar and Witkoppen Roads, brings together restaurants, speciality retail, beauty services, wellness facilities and leisure experiences in an elevated lifestyle destination connected to the mall.

Backed by Fourways Mall, which is 50% owned by JSE-listed Accelerate Property Fund, the development forms part of a broader effort to strengthen the centre’s position as a retail, entertainment and lifestyle destination.

Rather than focusing on shopping alone, The View introduces a setting designed around how people spend their time, whether that means grabbing coffee before work, meeting friends for lunch or winding down after a busy day.

Dining takes centre stage

Food lovers have plenty to explore, with a mix of established names and new additions catering to different tastes and occasions.

Tashas brings its signature all-day dining experience to Fourways, with interiors inspired by the Aegean and a menu centred on fresh ingredients and shared dining. Meanwhile, Pantry by Marble introduces its distinctive premium food and lifestyle concept to the area.

The wider line-up includes Fournos, Nossa Casa, Nonnas Riviera, Banchan and George’s Grill. Visitors can also head to Clay Cafe for a creative outing, while Gelato Mania offers something sweet afterwards.

Food Lover’s Market and Liquor Lane add a practical shopping element, balancing the destination’s more leisurely experiences with everyday convenience.

Wellness, beauty and more

The offering extends beyond restaurants, with wellness and personal care forming another key part of the experience.

Mangwanani provides a space to unwind, while Glow Theory, Popsicle Nails, The Piercery and The Laser Beautique offer beauty and grooming services. Loamari Pilates adds fitness to the mix, making it easier to combine a workout with breakfast or a coffee stop.

Petworld XXL further expands the speciality retail offering, while more additions are planned. Rockets Man is expected to open later in 2026, followed by Workshop17, which is scheduled to introduce flexible working spaces in January 2027.

A new chapter for Fourways Mall

The development combines contemporary architecture, refined finishes and a three-level atrium with indoor and outdoor spaces designed to encourage visitors to spend more time there.

Fourways Mall General Manager Juan Palm said the project was developed in response to growing demand for an upmarket dining and lifestyle experience in the area.

“Our vision was to bring together highly sought-after upscale brands in a beautifully designed setting, creating a destination where people can enjoy exceptional dining, wellness and leisure experiences,” Palm said.

He added that the aim was to make The View a regular destination for local residents while attracting visitors from further afield.

With its mix of dining, wellness, retail and social spaces, The View adds another dimension to Fourways Mall, offering visitors more reasons to make a day or evening of their visit.
