PEARLS TO SWINE FT. TRESOR AND KID X

South African high respected singer – songwriter has released yet another smash hit titled Pearls To Swine featuring multi award winning singer Tresor and hip-hop star Kid X.

Msaki who in pretty much was the town last year dominated the charts on her award winning collaborations with the likes of Black Coffee, Prince Kaybee, Black Motion and pop artist Tresor, Msaki has taken quality time into producing a body of work that will not only tantalise the artistic brain but also display her versatility when it comes to music. The Singer/song writer delivers her first offering as Pearls to Swine.   Speaking about the last single Msaki had this to say “Pearls to Swine is a song about love languages and the offerings that go undetected or misunderstood. It’s cheeky wink at long-term relationships as well as the humility and hurt that comes with trying to love someone else through all the seasons.”

Upon the release of the single,  Msaki and her brilliant team of creatives came together to create a visual experience for the song.

Msaki directs the video with Sizwe Dube as her D.O.P. She also co-art directs the video with multi talented artist and set designer Unathi Mkhonto. The art department is headed by Msaki’s long time friend and classmate from Fine Art School, Francois Knoetz and the costumes are created by Gift of ‘No Modern Slave’, who stood out as a contestant on South Africa’s Project Runway.

For such a heavy subject this video is a fun feast for the eyes.

Single is available on all digital platforms
