Trace is on a mission! The channel is dedicated to highlighting fresh African talent. Today, it announced plans to continue empowering young and emerging creatives. Their goal? To produce high-quality local content while keeping the top-performing shows that viewers love, even as changes unfold.

These include House of Trace, featuring live performances on Trace Sessions, and the flagship show New Music Friday, dedicated to debuting the hottest tracks.

Drill music, a subgenre of hip-hop, originated in the early 2010s in Chicago. It gained popularity in the UK, especially London. Known for its gritty and raw lyrical content, drill music often reflects street life and urban youth struggles.

Drill Hits airs every Tuesday from 15:00 to 15:30.

Trace will also feature top-performing shows, including originals like Hit 30 and Hits & Lyrics. New playlists will enhance the experience, featuring themes like Afro Vibes, Amapiano Plz, All Hip Hop, and Fresh and New.
