Clicks Beauty Playground 2026 Returns to Johannesburg

Beauty enthusiasts have another date to add to their calendars as the Clicks Beauty Playground prepares to return to Gauteng, bringing two days of beauty, self-care, entertainment and some of the biggest names in the industry to Johannesburg. The 2026 edition will take place from 17 to 18 October 2026 at Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand, with visitors set to experience a weekend filled with interactive brand activations, beauty masterclasses, product discoveries, giveaways and plenty of opportunities to get up close with the brands shaping the beauty industry.

If previous editions are anything to go by, this is not the kind of event where you simply walk around looking at products.

The Clicks Beauty Playground is designed to be experienced. With more than 70 local and international beauty brands expected to take part, visitors can look forward to discovering some of the biggest names in skincare, cosmetics, haircare, grooming and personal care, including brands such as CeraVe, Maybelline, La Roche-Posay and Sorbet.

But beyond the products themselves, it is the experience around the brands that makes the Beauty Playground such a major attraction.

Guests can expect interactive beauty zones, demonstrations, product experiences and the opportunity to discover new products while engaging directly with the people behind some of the country’s most exciting beauty businesses.

There will also be a strong focus on South African beauty.

Local creators, entrepreneurs and beauty founders will be part of the experience, giving visitors the opportunity to connect with personalities who are helping shape the country’s growing beauty landscape. Among those expected to feature is Gail Mabalane, whose Ethnogenics brand continues to build its presence within the beauty and haircare space.

For anyone who loves hair, the Clicks HairAffair station is expected to be one of the major attractions, while a dedicated grooming and men’s zone ensures that the conversation around beauty extends beyond the traditional female beauty market.

And then there are the masterclasses.

One of the biggest appeals of the Clicks Beauty Playground is the opportunity to learn directly from beauty professionals and industry experts. Visitors can attend masterclasses covering different aspects of beauty, skincare, haircare and grooming, making the experience as educational as it is entertaining.

The best part is that these masterclasses have historically been included with general admission, although registration requirements for the 2026 edition will need to be confirmed once tickets are released.

Of course, no beauty event would be complete without a few giveaways.

The Clicks Beauty Playground has become known for its impressive beauty goodie bags, with previous editions offering visitors bags packed with beauty and personal care products. It is one of those added extras that makes leaving the event almost as exciting as arriving.

There will also be music and entertainment throughout the weekend, creating an atmosphere that feels more like a beauty festival than a traditional expo.

Saturday’s sessions are expected to run from 09:00 to 17:00, while Sunday’s programme is expected to run from 09:00 to 16:00, giving visitors plenty of time to explore the various zones, attend masterclasses and experience the different brand activations.

Tickets for the 2026 Clicks Beauty Playground have not yet been officially priced by Clicks. Based on previous editions, however, visitors can expect tickets to be in the region of R650, although this should be treated as an estimate until the official ticketing information is released.

Tickets have previously been made available through platforms including Quicket and AirDosh, so beauty lovers will want to keep an eye on the official Clicks South Africa social media platforms for the ticket announcement.

And if you are planning on attending, I would not wait too long once tickets go live.

The Beauty Playground has built a reputation for attracting beauty lovers from across Gauteng, and with more than 70 brands, masterclasses, entertainment, giveaways and interactive experiences packed into one weekend, the 2026 edition is expected to be another busy one.

Whether you are obsessed with skincare, looking for your next haircare product, interested in discovering local beauty brands, wanting to learn a few new beauty tricks or simply looking for a fun weekend outing, there is plenty to explore.

Ultimately, the Clicks Beauty Playground is about taking beauty off the shelf and turning it into an experience.

And this October, Johannesburg gets to play.
