After the huge success of her debut album Imizwa, Afro-pop and Urban Maskhandi star Lwah Ndlunkulu has released her highly anticipated second album, Amaciko, today under Inkabi Records. Along with the album, she’s launched two new projects: Amaciko Foods and Amaciko Production, expanding her creativity beyond music.
Amaciko, a 12-track collection, is Lwah’s tribute to the “custodians of art and culture.” It blends soulful Afro-pop with traditional Zulu instruments and rhythms, showcasing the genre she and her team call Urban Maskhandi—a modern twist on her cultural roots.

“Amaciko is more than an album; it’s the birth of a new chapter that encompasses my art
and my spirit of enterprise. It is my love letter to the people, to my ancestors, and to every
woman who carries the weight of culture and still dares to be modern and build an
empire,” says Lwah Ndlunkulu. “The name ‘Amaciko’ honors the skilled artisans and
custodians of our culture, which is what I aim to be through my music with Amaciko
production, and through the authentic tastes we will bring with Amaciko Foods.”
The album was introduced at two intimate listening sessions. The first, at the Playhouse in Durban on September 30th, was a heartfelt evening with her grandmother present, rooting the album in family and heritage. The second, at Propstar in Johannesburg on October 2nd, brought her sound to the urban music scene of the nation’s heart.
With Amaciko, Lwah Ndlunkulu offers fans a fresh, authentic sound while celebrating her culture—and now, she’s taking that creativity into business too
