AN ODE TO CAPE TOWN: KASHCPT DROPS NEW MIXTAPE, CAPE TOWN RADIO 2

KashCPT, who entered the music scene at 17, now the 22-year-old rapper, singer and songwriter is ready to release his fire mixtape; Cape Town Radio 2, this Friday. The talented artist is a proud Capetonian representing the city through his music and visuals and inspiring all young artists in and around South Africa. 

On Tuesday the 26th of April, KashCPT had an exclusive listening session for his project, Cape Town Radio 2. The mixtape consists of 16 songs where he explores a fresh hip hop sound, with hard baselines and Afro-beats feel-good songs. This project features artists such as the likes of J Molley, Blxckie, Kaien Cruz and Youngsta CPT – what more can you ask for? 

“I wish the government invested more into the youth and their ventures of being creatives, the likes of Riky Rick did that and he wasn’t even getting paid to do that. The role I’m playing in making a change is actively putting my city on the map and hopefully opening more doors for young artists in Cape Town,” said KashCPT on the night of his listening session. The room was filled in awe of the talent KashCPT shows!
