In 2018, Simtronic DJ partnered with Distell and did 3 Regional Tours as the headline act, covering areas in Mpumalanga, Limpopo and Northern Gauteng. Growing up: Angie Santana , born (Angelico Santana Vanto) is a R&B/Trapsoul Singer and Songwritter. Born in Johannesburg. She was always an entertainer from a very young age, and knew she wanted to be a superstar when she heard BoomShaka’s “Its About Time”. At the age of 14 she moved to the Northern Cape, Kimberley with her Family, where she started a whole new Journey, and joined her first Choir at St. Boniface High School. Angie wasn’t trying to pursue music at this point in time, she was actually more interested in being a lawyer. So she was more concerned with passing at school. In 2007 she got a Scholarship to go study at The International School Of South Africa, in Mahikeng. This Is where she spent the next 6 Years of her life. Being in a Foreign City and environment , alone with no family, she soon turned to the one thing that would bring her comfort….Music. She immediately joined the school ‘Youth Choir’.
