Smirnoff ICE Fan Park Brings Football Fever to Sandton

Football fans came together for an unforgettable celebration of the beautiful game as the Smirnoff ICE Fan Park officially kicked off at Wakanda Village in Sandton on Sunday, 28 June 2026.

Created to bring supporters closer to the excitement of the world’s biggest football tournaments, the Fan Park transformed the popular venue into a vibrant entertainment destination where fans could watch live matches, enjoy great food, experience top-tier entertainment and celebrate alongside fellow football lovers.

The activation forms part of Smirnoff ICE’s ongoing We Do We Nakanjani campaign, a platform that celebrates authentic self-expression, meaningful social connections and the communities that continue to shape South African culture.

Launching the first edition of the Fan Park was an exciting entertainment line-up featuring some of South Africa’s hottest DJs, including 2wo Bunnies, Tristan Urwin, Havoc and Tiiamo, who kept the energy high before, during and after the football action.

Whether supporting a favourite national team, catching up with friends or simply looking for an exciting weekend outing, guests were treated to an immersive atmosphere where football, music and culture came together in one unforgettable experience.

Running from 28 June until 19 July 2026, the Smirnoff ICE Fan Park will continue to host a series of live football viewing experiences, giving supporters multiple opportunities to celebrate every goal, every victory and every unforgettable moment together.

With football, live DJs, delicious food and an electric atmosphere, the Smirnoff ICE Fan Park is set to become one of Sandton’s must-visit destinations throughout the tournament.
