Winning SportyBet’s first Crash Games World Championship could come with more than bragging rights. The eventual winner will also walk away with a championship ring valued at more than R25,000.
The exclusive ring has been created for the inaugural Crash Games World Championship (CGWC), taking inspiration from the championship rings traditionally handed to winners across major sporting competitions.
Gold-plated and finished with zirconia stones, the ring is being made specifically for the first-ever CGWC World Champion. In other words, whoever finishes at the top of the global leaderboard will own a piece that nobody else can claim.
And there is more on the table.
Alongside the ring, the champion will receive a major cash prize, Free Bets and an exclusive jersey signed by SportyBet ambassadors. For South African players, that jersey will carry the signatures of football legend Benni McCarthy and Springbok star Cheslin Kolbe.
The two South African sporting icons are part of an international ambassador line-up taking part in the Championship, joining global names including DJ Khaled, Burna Boy and Yan Diomande. A sixth ambassador is still to be announced.
The rewards are not limited to the player who finishes first either. Those placing second through tenth on the final leaderboard will also receive cash prizes and signed jerseys, while the first 5,000 players on the leaderboard will qualify for additional prizes.
DJ Khaled, who is among Sporty Group’s global ambassadors, believes the ring adds another level of competition to the tournament.
“That ring is serious. When you see something like that, you know this Championship is on another level. The first CGWC Champion is going to have something nobody else has, and I want to see who earns it,” he said.
With SportyBet bringing players together for its first global Crash Games tournament, the race is now on to see who will become the first name to claim the CGWC title — and the ring that comes with it.
