A new chapter in one of Latin television’s most celebrated crime sagas is about to unfold as Telemundo prepares to bring viewers a gripping story of family, power and survival with the premiere of The Casillas Dynasty this August.

Launching on 10 August on Telemundo (DStv 118), the highly anticipated telenovela promises months of intense drama, explosive confrontations and shifting alliances, with new episodes airing nightly at 9pm until the season finale on 9 November 2026.

At the centre of the story is Ismael Casillas, portrayed by acclaimed actor Iván Arana, who steps into the spotlight following the mysterious disappearance of family patriarch Aurelio Casillas. Faced with mounting threats and growing pressure from rivals, Ismael finds himself fighting to protect both his family’s legacy and the fragile bonds that hold the Casillas empire together.

Joining Arana is María Fernanda Yepes as Elizabeth, a powerful and determined woman drawn back into the dangerous world she once left behind. Veteran actors Raúl Méndez and Isabella Castillo further strengthen a cast packed with some of Latin America’s most recognisable television stars.

The series follows Diana and Ismael Casillas as they attempt to rescue Aurelio and Rutila while navigating a criminal landscape where trust is scarce and danger waits around every corner. As old enemies resurface and new power struggles emerge, the pair are forced to rethink their alliances in an escalating battle against El Gancho’s cartel.

Seeking an advantage, they turn to Elizabeth, the former wife of Chema, who sees an opportunity to leave her life in Milan behind and return to the underworld. Her ambitions stretch beyond survival, as she pursues power, territory and a strategic alliance with the Casillas family that could change the balance of power forever.

As tensions rise and loyalties are tested, the question remains whether the Casillas dynasty can adapt and survive, or whether the empire will collapse under the weight of its own enemies.

Beyond its compelling storyline, The Casillas Dynasty boasts an impressive ensemble cast that includes Roberto Sosa, Robinson Díaz, Plutarco Haza, Ianis Guerrero, Karen Sandoval, David Palacio, Ximena González Rubio, Gonzalo Vega Jr., Ana González Bello, Alan Slim, Wendy de los Cobos, Carlos Corona, Leonardo Álvarez, Alejandro Aguilar, Christian Gnecco, Alexis Juárez, Luciana Silveyra, Vanessa Acosta, David Ponce, Florencia Ríos, Ana Sofía Gatica, Jesusa Ochoa and Sandra Quiroz.

Produced by Telemundo Studios, the series is written by Juan Camilo Ferrand and directed by Javier Fox Patrón, Mauricio Corredor and Laura Marco Lavilla. The production also features cinematography by Juan Carlos Lazo, Ricardo Garfias and Alejandro Tellez, while Marisa Pecanins leads production design. Mónica Vizzi serves as executive producer alongside general producer Mabel Vargas.

With high-stakes action, family rivalries and relentless power struggles at its core, The Casillas Dynasty is set to deliver the kind of edge-of-your-seat storytelling that has made Telemundo dramas a global phenomenon.

The Casillas Dynasty premieres exclusively on Telemundo (DStv 118) on 10 August, with new episodes airing every night at 9pm until 9 November 2026.
