JOHANNESBURG 29 JUNE 2021 – Emma Mkhwanazi who is a founding member of the IPCC church choir has passed on. Details of her passing are still not clear but a source close to the family has confirmed that she passed in hospital this morning.

Dannywired reached out to her producer and this is what they had to say ” I have known Emma for a few decades. She was one of the lead singers in the popular gospel group IPCC which i produced music for for many years. Upon her departure from the group i took her in and she went o to record two albums. Emma was a talented singer and was passionate about spreading the good gospel. I am saddened about the news.”

“A few days ago we lost Patrick Mncube who will be laid to rest tomorrow. Mncube was the lead guitarist in the group IPCC – so this is really a big blow for us in the music industry” says Thami Mdluli
