The countdown to the Hollywoodbets Durban July 2026 is reaching its final stretch, and Makubenjalo, in partnership with Martell and OMODA, has officially unveiled the entertainment line-up for its highly anticipated Njalos experience.

The premium lifestyle destination set the tone for race week by announcing its star-studded programme during an exclusive launch event held in Soweto, building excitement ahead of one of South Africa’s biggest social and cultural occasions.

Returning to Greyville Racecourse with an elevated vision of luxury, fashion, music and hospitality, Njalos continues to establish itself as one of the most sought-after destinations during Durban July weekend.

Leading this year’s entertainment line-up is an impressive collection of South Africa’s biggest music stars, including Kabza De Small, Kwesta, DJ Sox, Uncool MC, DJ Bongz, Leehleza, Vetkoek vs Mahoota, DJ Stokie and DJ Amanda.

Legendary kwaito pioneers Boom Shaka will also take to the Njalos stage, bringing one of South Africa’s most iconic musical catalogues to race day celebrations.

Guests can expect an expertly curated soundtrack spanning amapiano, house, hip hop and timeless South African classics, creating an immersive entertainment experience that carries the energy from the opening arrivals through to the official afterparty.

Beyond the music, Njalos will once again welcome leading celebrities, media personalities, tastemakers and lifestyle influencers, reinforcing its reputation as one of the most exclusive gatherings on the Hollywoodbets Durban July calendar.

“Makubenjalo has created more than a premium destination. It has created a cultural signature — bold, proudly South African, and impossible to miss. Together, Martell and Makubenjalo are bringing audacity, elegance and distinction to Africa’s most iconic race day,” said Dudu Mokholo, Chief Marketing Officer for Africa Middle East at Pernod Ricard.

Inspired by this year’s Country Allure theme, the Njalos experience will blend heritage-inspired sophistication with contemporary luxury, offering guests an environment where culture, style and premium hospitality come together seamlessly.

The collaboration between Makubenjalo, Martell and OMODA continues to celebrate innovation, craftsmanship and elevated lifestyle experiences, delivering one of the most distinctive destinations at the Hollywoodbets Durban July.

Guests can look forward to an all-inclusive premium experience featuring gourmet dining, specially curated Martell cocktails, luxury seating, VIP hospitality, live

entertainment and exclusive access to the official Njalos afterparty.

With race day fast approaching, anticipation continues to build as Makubenjalo, Martell and OMODA prepare to deliver an unforgettable celebration of South African culture, music and luxury.

The journey to Durban July is almost complete, and Njalos is ready to make history once again.
