Turkish Airlines Resumes Flights to Abu Dhabi, Dammam, Kuwait and Bahrain

Turkish Airlines has resumed flights to Abu Dhabi, Dammam, Kuwait and Bahrain while increasing frequencies to Dubai, Amman and Beirut as it strengthens its Middle East network.

Turkish Airlines is continuing the restoration of its Middle East network with the resumption of flights to several key destinations across the region, further strengthening connectivity between the Middle East and the rest of the world through its Istanbul hub.

The airline, which flies to more countries than any other carrier globally, has announced the return of services to Abu Dhabi from 1 July 2026, Dammam from 10 July 2026, Kuwait from 11 July 2026 and Bahrain from 16 July 2026.

The latest route resumptions follow the successful restart of flights to Dubai in June and form part of the airline’s broader strategy to rebuild and expand operations across the region.

In addition to restoring routes, Turkish Airlines has also increased flight frequencies on several popular destinations. Services between Istanbul and Dubai have doubled from seven to 14 weekly flights, while flights to Amman increased from 14 to 21 weekly services from 19 June. Beirut has also received a boost, with weekly frequencies increasing from 21 to 28 flights from 1 July.

The expansion reflects growing travel demand across the Middle East and reinforces Istanbul’s position as a major international transit hub connecting travellers to destinations worldwide.

Operating from its strategic hub in Türkiye’s largest city, Turkish Airlines offers passengers access to more than 350 destinations across Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and the Americas. The airline remains one of the world’s largest international carriers, serving six continents through its extensive route network.

The reinstated Abu Dhabi route will operate four times weekly, while Dammam, Kuwait and Bahrain will also receive multiple weekly services, providing greater flexibility for both business and leisure travellers.

The move is expected to benefit passengers travelling between the Gulf region and international destinations, offering seamless connections through Istanbul to some of the world’s most sought-after cities.
