Scorpion Kings Live Adds Explosive Pre-Show Lineup

The Scorpion Kings are looking to ensure that their planned takeover of Johannesburg becomes an all-day affair as they announce a heavy pre-show featuring many South African artists ahead of Scorpion Kings Live on 19 September 2026.

Early arrivals at the show should expect a variety of sounds ranging from Amapiano, hip hop, house, Bacardi and Maskandi, which set the tone for the planned music festival.

Pre-show performers include A-Reece, Dlala Thukzin, Dark Horse, DJs @ Work, Venom, Banques, Sam Deep, Stixx, Mdu aka TRP, Jnr SA, Natiey Lepaka, Wendy Moon, Shandesh and Ba Bethe Gashoazen.

Bacardi will be represented by a unique showcasing performance, which features Big Baller CEO, Black Boy, Sia The Bee and Zela Force among the other featured acts.

Maskandi, which is one of South Africa’s oldest musical genres, will be also given a chance in the program, featuring performances by Mnotho, Mjabulisi, Mjolisi, Shenge Wasehlalankosi and Jikjiki.

An extended program is designed to get the party started long before the main event, giving fans an opportunity to enjoy different performances and celebrating the rich diversity of the South African music industry.

Scorpion Kings Live has already become a highly popular event, with an additional pre-show lineup announcement adding some weight to this exciting music festival.

There is still a chance for Standard Bank customers to purchase tickets for Scorpion Kings Live. There are limited Scorpion Kings Live tickets available to Standard Bank cardholders through Webtickets with a discount of 10% for debit cardholders and 20% for credit cardholders.

With tickets limited, fans are encouraged to secure their places while availability remains.

Doors open at 12:00 on 19 September 2026, giving audiences plenty of time to arrive early, experience the pre-show performances and settle in for the main event.
