There are so many events which happen right across the world and some really promise to give you an experience of a lifetime. When we talk about an experience fit for the whole community, the number of world-renowned event drop significantly as there are a few events which could give you musical performance, dance shows, comedy nights and more in one festival week.
With the world wide lockdown we saw everything coming to a stand still. Live concerts became a thing of the past and online concerts being the new “in thing”.

Now that country is open for live interactive events, MBOMBELA – Culture, Sport and Recreation MEC, Thandi Shongwe launched this years edition of the Mpumalanga Cultural Xperience.

Over the years, the Mpumalanga Cultural Xperience has become a permanent feature in the local entertainment landscape by providing a platform for artists – both local and national – who delight patrons with top-notch performances.
“We are excited to deliver yet another installment of the Mpumalanga Cultural Xperience. To mark the seven- year milestone, we have come up with new and exciting activities, which will thrill patrons,” says the department’s spokesperson, Sibongile Nkosi.

The Xperience first hit the scene in 2015 with the aim of bringing together the diverse people of the province to celebrate in song, dance and attract visitors to revel in the beauty of the province.
This is the year of sevens and this event will focus on seven pillars of entertainment.

Traditionally we know such concerts to feature only music but with the Mpumalanga Cultural Experience will firstly put on artists from the province while promoting their brands. The seven pillars which is greatly mentioned will cater to the music, movies and dance lovers. This week long event will also have a carnival which will cater to the kids while also giving you a sine se of tradition.

Dannywired Editor got to chat with two incredibly talented female artists from Mpumalanga – Award winning artist Phumla Music and songstress Lungile. I’m conversations both artists shared their trials and tribulations of being one a female artist In a small community and secondly being headstrong in the entertainment dominated by Gauteng artists. “I’ve been in the music industry for 10 years and it was only recently when I got invited to perform at a government gig. When I started doing music I didn’t do it for the intention of being booked by the government but I did it because I have the love for music. If you are an artist and aren’t booked at this event don’t be discouraged, keep pushing on and doing what you are doing and someone will notice soon” says Phumla Music

We at Dannywired can confirm that this experience will be an experience of a lifetime judging by how opulent the media launch was from transported by the finest most luxurious Mercedes Benz shuttles to lodging at a breathtaking guest house “ Christie’s 32 on Russell Street, Mbombela”. Bokamoso PR in association with Mpumalanga Cultural Experience and Mpumalanga Province surely know how to welcome visitors in their province.  December is about to get groovy
