ADDITIONAL TALENT ANNOUNCED AS THE COUNTDOWN FOR COTTON FEST BEGINS

Durban, South Africa – Cotton Fest Durban, the highly anticipated music festival known for giving young upcoming artists a platform to perform alongside legendary artists, while fusing the gaps between different popular music genres, today announced the inclusion of additional talent to it’s lineup. 

Taking place this Sunday, 02 July, at the Kings Park Stadium Outer Fields, DJ extraordinaire Kelvin Momo together with Cotton Fest alumni Robot Boii are set to join the already fiery lineup of over 60 South African acts. Also confirmed are hiphop duo Major Steez, renowned DJ Mashbeatz, the talented Mfana Kah Gogo and Gagasi FM’s DJ Heazy.

In addition, the Cotton Fest team today confirmed the winners of the Open Mic competition which took place this past weekend in Durban. 

This all round list of talented Durban locals, who will be performing at the festival, includes: 

  • Orchid Musiq
  • Squad6ix
  • Denim X
  • K.I Dreamz


As always, the day will be filled with not just music. There will be sport, food, fashion and so much more.

Safety wise, we got you covered too. Security will be present at the festival as an active deterrent for possible criminal activity, and further offer a vigilant and fast alert response in the event of any incidents.

Cotton Fest is powered by Coke Studios, Budweiser, Hunters, Klipdrift, Count Pushkin, 4th Street Wines, Jagermeister, VUSE, Red Bull together with media giants Trace Urban and Gagasi FM.

  • It’s all going down this Sunday – 2nd July 2023
  • Destination is Kings Park Stadium, the Outer Field
  • Doors open at 12pm and the festival concludes at 12AM
  • No under 18s allowed
  • Coolerboxes NOT allowed
  • Food and Drink will be available for purchase on site
  • Tickets are not refundable
  • Wear comfy clothes and shoes (ensure the combos are communicating)
  • Wear sunblock
  • Don’t forget to bring your positive energy
