Summer plans are getting a second wind as Y’s LYFE moves its upcoming event to Sunday, 29 November 2026, bringing a fresh date and a new lineup to its celebration of music, culture and creativity.

With the venue remaining Marks Park, the event is keeping its summer spirit alive while giving fans another reason to stretch the weekend. Think shorts, shades, picnic blankets and good music, all wrapped in the familiar feeling that every day is Friday.

More than just a music gathering, LYFE continues to position itself as a platform for emerging talent, creative expression and the sounds shaping South African music. This year’s edition promises a mix of soulful performances, dance-floor favourites and homegrown sounds designed to bring people together.

Leading the lineup are Sjava, Shekhinah, Thando Zide, Sun-El Musician, Umzulu Phaqa, Lusanda, Yolophonik, FIF_LAAA, Just Mo and Fae Fae. With artists bringing different sounds and musical influences to the stage, audiences can expect a diverse celebration of local talent.

Meanwhile, organisers have also addressed the change of date, ensuring that existing ticket holders are accommodated. All current ticket holders will automatically receive tickets valid for the new date and will also receive free access to AMA’s performance next year.

“With the new date clashing with AMA’s schedule, she is unable to perform at LYFE this year. We sincerely apologize to all her fans who already purchased tickets. We are currently in discussions with her team to secure a date for 2027 which we will share as soon as it has been finalised” stated Y’s Marketing Manager Fanele Moloi.

However, for those unable to attend on the rescheduled date, there is an alternative. Ticket holders who no longer wish to attend can request a full refund through Webtickets.

Despite the adjustment, the focus remains on creating a summer experience where music, fashion and community come together. From catching performances with friends to enjoying the outdoor atmosphere, the event invites audiences to make the most of the final stretch of November.

Y’s LYFE will take place on Sunday, 29 November 2026, at Marks Park, with doors opening at 10:00 and the event running until 18:30.

With the new date confirmed and the lineup ready to take centre stage, fans can start making their plans for a Sunday filled with music, culture and summer energy.
