South African Afro-Pop singer Mlindo The Vocalist is exploring a more spiritual side of his artistry with the release of “Ndembathe Nkosi”, a new collaboration with Duduza Serenade that arrives ahead of his forthcoming album, INHLAWULO.
Released on Friday, 23 October 2026, the single reflects themes of faith, gratitude and personal growth, marking another chapter in the singer’s musical journey.
Known for his emotive vocals and storytelling, Mlindo has built a connection with audiences through songs about love, relationships and everyday experiences. This time, he turns towards spirituality, drawing on the lessons that have shaped him both personally and professionally.
The collaboration with Duduza Serenade brings a spiritual dimension to his familiar Afro-Pop sound, with the song centred on reflection, gratitude and finding strength through faith.
For Mlindo, the release also comes as he embraces greater independence as an artist and prepares to share a more personal side of himself with listeners.
“This chapter of my life is about gratitude, faith and understanding that every experience has a purpose. I have been through moments that challenged me, but music and my belief in God have always helped me find my way back,” he says.
He adds that working with Duduza Serenade forms part of sharing that journey with the people who have supported his career, as he prepares to introduce his next body of work.

Scheduled for release on 6 November 2026, INHLAWULO takes its name from a word meaning “payment” or “what is owed”. The album is described as a reflection on perseverance, personal growth and reclaiming one’s place after navigating life’s challenges.
With themes of love, spirituality and self-reflection running through the project, the album promises a more intimate look at the experiences shaping Mlindo’s life and music.
“Ndembathe Nkosi” is available on major digital streaming platforms, with INHLAWULO set to follow in November.
