B. Thompson Returns to SA for Luxury Jazz Experience

South African audiences are set to experience an intimate blend of contemporary R&B, jazz and luxury hospitality when Los Angeles-based saxophonist B. Thompson returns to Johannesburg for a series of engagements from 29 October to 1 November 2026.

Presented by Shai Boi Holdings, the B. Thompson Luxury Series 2026 will bring together live music, fine dining and premium hospitality, with the visit expected to connect entertainment, lifestyle and the local creative industry.

The programme will include activities in the days leading up to the main event, creating potential opportunities for media interviews, networking and audience engagement. While further details are expected to be announced through official event channels, the visit is positioned as more than a traditional live performance.

At the centre of the experience is the Al Fresco Luxury Signature Experience, taking place on Sunday, 1 November, at the Radisson Blu Sandton in Johannesburg. The event aims to offer guests a distinctive setting where music and lifestyle meet, with B. Thompson bringing his contemporary R&B and jazz sound to the occasion.

“The first time I cam here you know it wasn’t like my own accord. I was actually coming on tour with BabyFace and we had a show at SunBet Arena and i was the only person that said you know, I’m going to stay a little bit long and I’ll let them leave.” said B.Thompson

His return also presents an opportunity to strengthen connections between international talent and South Africa’s entertainment and lifestyle landscape.
