A wave of gospel music is about to rock Johannesburg this spring with the Replenishment Concert scheduled to grace the city for the very first time on Saturday, 31 October 2026.
In its fifth consecutive year, the annual gospel event will descend upon Sandown High School in Sandton where thousands of worshippers, families and fans will gather in an all-day event based around faith, music and fellowship.
Conceived in 2022 by broadcaster and entrepreneur Thabo ‘Tbo Touch’ Molefe, Replenishment has managed to carve out a place in South Africa as a gospel event to behold. This year will see the celebration of the event enter a new phase with its premiere in Johannesburg.
The musical acts that have so far signed up include Joyous Celebration, Xolly Mncwango, Jumbo and Keke Phoofolo, among others. Additionally, more acts and experiences are likely to be revealed in the coming weeks.
“This year’s Replenishment Concert marks more than just another event. It’s the beginning of an exciting new era,” says Molefe. “Replenishment has always been about restoring hearts, reviving family bonds and creating moments that bring people closer to God and to one another.”
Apart from the performances, the attendees will experience an exceptional family friendly experience with worship, food vendors, activity zones, hospitality offerings and activations.
Furthermore, the event is created to serve all generations, providing an opportunity for families and friends to worship together while enjoying live gospel entertainment.
As the Replenishment event moves to its fifth year, its introduction to Johannesburg represents an important milestone for an event centered on restoration, community and faith.
