As the countdown to the festive season begins, Airburn Sounds is giving Amapiano lovers another reason to turn up the volume. The producer and DJ has joined forces with Leemckrazy and Zuma on a new single titled Ngiya Hamba, featuring Mulest Vankay and Jon Delinger.

Released on Friday, 30 October 2026, the record takes a different approach to the gritty, street-influenced sound that has become associated with Airburn Sounds. Instead, listeners are introduced to a warmer, more relaxed Amapiano production that leans into feel-good moments, musical experimentation and the freedom of simply enjoying a good song.

Interestingly, the collaboration was not built around chasing a particular sound or industry trend. Rather, it came together through existing relationships between the producer and the featured artists, allowing everyone to contribute from a place of familiarity.

Airburn Sounds explains that he has worked with Leemckrazy, Zuma and Mulest Vankay on several projects, while his connection with Jon Delinger goes back to their earlier days at Open Mic. Consequently, bringing the artists together felt like a natural progression rather than a carefully manufactured collaboration.

Although his street-influenced productions have kept him busy throughout the year, Airburn Sounds is keen to demonstrate that his musical identity extends beyond one particular style.

With Ngiya Hamba, he explores a softer, more accessible direction, creating a record that can comfortably soundtrack road trips, social gatherings and those spontaneous moments with friends and family.

Furthermore, each contributor brings a distinct musical character to the production. Leemckrazy’s songwriting and storytelling, Zuma’s recognisable vocal delivery and Jon Delinger’s jazz-inspired scat singing introduce different textures, while Mulest Vankay adds another familiar voice to the collaboration.

According to Airburn Sounds, experimentation remains an important part of his development as a producer. Having explored Afro-Tech, hip-hop and Afrobeats before expanding into Amapiano, he continues to look for opportunities to introduce fresh elements into his productions, including live instrumentation.

Meanwhile, the single offers a glimpse into the broader creative direction of Airburn360, with the producer keen to explore different sounds without abandoning the musical identity he has established.

Ultimately, Ngiya Hamba is about keeping things uncomplicated. It is a feel-good release designed to be enjoyed repeatedly, particularly as South Africans prepare for summer celebrations and the festive season.

Ngiya Hamba by Airburn Sounds, Leemckrazy and Zuma, featuring Mulest Vankay and Jon Delinger, is available on streaming platforms.
