South Africa, February 22, 2022 — DIESEL releases a second chapter of Diesel x Diesel capsule collection, available from Friday, 25 February 2022 exclusively at the Sandton and V&A Waterfront stores.

Diesel x Diesel is the innovative—and ironic—brainchild of creative director, Glenn Martens. With this line, Martens looks to iconic heritage pieces from DIESEL’s history while updating them for today’s fashion trends. It’s a cross-decade collaboration between the then-and-now.

In Diesel x Diesel’s second chapter, there is a focus on core DIESEL pillars: Pop sports-wear and technical workwear. There’s also a distinct nod to the 1990’s, with a majority of the remixed garments originating in this decade.

The workwear inspired collection, features a cotton canvas coat (referencing a garment from 1994 and 1995) is reimagined with corduroy and tape details, while loose-fitting denim from 1991 (with a minimalist pocket corner flap) is updated for 2022. Likewise, a nylon skirt from 1995 and 1996, and others.

In total, there are 9 pieces in Diesel x Diesel’s second installment; and most of the items are designed for all genders. The range is available to shop from the 25th of February 2022 exclusively at Sandton and V&A Waterfront DIESEL stores.
