Correia-Paulo produced 2020’s iimini with Mabandla and was also part of the artist’s March 17th performance as part of the 2021 SXSW online line-up. In the lead up to this year’s SXSW, Mabandla was placed at number two in an episode of NPR’s All Songs Considered that saw presenter Bob Boilen and Stephen Thompson once again highlight some of their favourite SXSW festival finds.

Mabandla’s tour is being presented in collaboration with Striped Horse Premium Lager, and is produced by Black Major, Mabandla’s management agency and label partner.

All tour venues follow COVID-19 regulations to ensure a safe live experience for audiences.

Mabandla recently released the visual for “Masiziyekelele” off iimini. The visual was shot in Nirox Scupture Park and was directed and edited by Correia-Paulo with Rick Joaquim as DOP. Watch here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pUBfvDSOxJE
