Starting 2 October 2025, Disney+ is giving South African fans free access to the ESPN Africa linear channels, with no extra cost. Subscribers can now enjoy two 24-hour channels packed with the best live and studio sports from around the globe.
ESPN brings rugby fans the National Rugby League in Australia and Japan, plus top European football, including the Scottish Professional Football League, English Football League, Dutch Eredivisie, German FA Cup, Turkey’s SüperLig, and the Saudi Pro League.
ESPN 2 delivers all-American action with the NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, and women’s and college sports, including the NWSL and NCAA football and basketball. Both channels also feature popular studio shows like ESPN FC, First Take, The Pat McAfee Show, and SportsCenter, along with award-winning documentaries and ESPN Originals like the 30 for 30 film series.
